Beschreibung

General description

Eine zellpermeable Isophthalamid-Verbindung, die ein Hydroxyethylamin-Motiv enthält, das an das aktive Zentrum von BACE1 bindet und dessen proteolytische Aktivität wirksam blockiert (IC₅₀ = 15 nM für menschliches BACE1 und 29 nM für sAPP_NF in HEK293-APP-^NFEV-Zellen). Zeigt größere Selektivität gegenüber anderen Aspartylproteasen (IC₅₀ = 0,23 µM, 7,6 µM und >50 µM für BACE2, Cathepsin D bzw. Renin). Eine 10-mM-Lösung (Kat.-Nr. 565794) in DMSO ist ebenfalls erhältlich.
