Beschreibung

General description

Trypton-Soja-Agar + Penase (Penicillinase) + LTHThio sedi. ICR in 90-mm-Sedimentationsplatten (nicht verschließbar) wurden zur Bestimmung der Gesamtzahl aerober Mikroorganismen in der Luft durch aktives oder passives Luftmonitoring sowie für Fingerabdrücke des Personals in Isolatoren und Reinräumen entwickelt. Es ist ein komplexes Medium zur Kultivierung und Isolierung vieler Bakterien, Hefen und Schimmelpilze. Die Formulierung des Soja-Casein-Pepton-Mediums enthält eine Kombination von Casein und Soja-Peptonen und liefert organischen Stickstoff, insbesondere Aminosäuren und längerkettige Peptide. Das osmotische Gleichgewicht wird durch Natriumchlorid aufrechterhalten und das Medium enthält zusätzlich Pyruvat zur effizienten Neutralisierung von Wasserstoffperoxidresten. Lecithin, Polysorbat 80 (Tween^®), Histidin und Natriumthiosulfat sind Neutralisationsmittel, um Desinfektionsmittel mit Wirkstoffen wie Alkohol (70 % Ethanol oder Isopropanol), Aldehyd, Chloriten, Dichlorisocyanurat, Glucoprotamin, Peressigsäure, Phenolen, quartären Ammoniumverbindungen und Biguaniden zu neutralisieren. Außerdem enthält das Medium Penicillinase (≥ 1.000 IU/Liter), um Rückstände von Penicillinen wie Benzylpenicillin, Ampicillin, Amoxicillin, Carbenicillin und Methicillin zu neutralisieren.

Application

Trypton-Soja-Agar (TSA, Soja-Casein-Pepton-Agar) ist ein komplexes Medium zur Kultivierung und Isolierung vieler Bakterien, Hefen und Schimmelpilze. Das Medium wird für das Umfeldmonitoring durch Bestimmung der Gesamtzahl aerober Mikroorganismen in der Luft durch aktives oder passives Luftmonitoring sowie für Fingerabdrücke des Personals in Isolatoren und Reinräumen angewendet.
