CASO-Bouillon ist ein universelles Komplexmedium. Es ist für die Isolierung und Kultivierung anspruchsvoller aerober Bakterien, Hefen und Schimmelpilze geeignet. Durch seinen Gehalt an zwei sehr nährstoffreichen Peptonen fördert es das Wachstum einer Vielzahl von aeroben und fakultativ anaeroben Mikroorganismen, einschließlich von Pilzen.

Application

CASO-Bouillon (TSB) wird für die Sterilitätsprüfung nicht steriler Substanzen, Zubereitungen und Produkte sowie als Voranreicherungsbouillon zum Testen der spezifizierten Mikroorganismen oder zur Bestimmung der Gesamtzahl lebensfähiger Keime mit dem MPN-Verfahren eingesetzt.
