Beschreibung

General description

Mit Pferdeserum angereicherte HAYFLICK-Bouillon stellt brauchbares Cholesterin und brauchbare Fettsäuren bereit. Desoxyribonukleinsäure stellt Purin- und Pyrimidin-Basen bereit, die nicht durch Mykoplasmen synthetisiert werden können. Eine Farbveränderung des Mediums von gelb zu violett deutet aufgrund des Vorhandenseins von Phenolrot im Medium auf das Wachstum von Mykoplasmen hin. Penicillin hemmt das Wachstum der begleitenden Bakterienflora.

Application

FREY-Bouillon wird für den Nachweis von Vogelmykoplasmen in pharmazeutischen Produkten empfohlen, insbesondere für Bulk-Impfstoffe, Zellbanken und Viruskulturen.
