Le Kit de comptage de cellules - 8 (CCK-8) est pratique à utiliser du fait du WST-8 (sel monosodique de 2-(2-méthoxy-4-nitrophényl)-3-(4-nitrophényl)-5-(2,4-disulfophényl)-2H-tétrazolium), qui produit un colorant (le formazan) hydrosoluble par bioréduction en présence d′un transporteur d′électrons, le 1-méthoxy PMS. Aucun prémélange n′est requis : la solution de CCK-8 est directement ajoutée aux cellules. Le WST-8 est bioréduit par des déshydrogénases cellulaires en un produit orange, le formazan, qui est soluble dans les milieux de culture tissulaire. La quantité de formazan produite est directement proportionnelle au nombre de cellules vivantes. La solution de CCK-8 étant très stable et faiblement cytotoxique, il est possible de procéder à des incubations plus longues, de l′ordre de 24 à 48 heures.

100 Test means 100 wells, so only one 96-well plate?

The reagents provided in kit 96992 are sufficient for 100 tests. A 96 well microplate is not included with the kit. The customer must provide the 96 well plate. Although a solid 96 well plate can be used, a 96 well microplate with removable strips will allow for the most efficient use of the kit.

Is this kit suitable for use with HEK293 or HEK293f cells?

Yes, the 96992 kit can be utilized to stain both HEK293 and HEK293B cells. The Cell Count kit is not cell type-specific and is expected to function effectively for counting viable mammalian cells.
