The eMcollect sponge stick is a sampling device specifically engineered for surface sampling in food safety and hygiene assessments. The sterile sponge stick with premium quality cellulose sponge swab is essential for laboratories and food industry professionals seeking reliable and effective sampling solutions. The sponge stick is used to check the quality of the disinfection processes, even in the presence of residual disinfectants that may be present on the sampled surface. The sponge stick is blue and made of plastic equipped with release clamps. It comes in an easy-to-open blue pre-cut sampling bag along with a blank area for writing sample information. The bag is supplied with an adhesive closure label for sample protection. Distilled water with a 10 % neutralizing agent, calibrated to a dose of 10 mL is used as a diluent.
