General description

IgG is one of the most abundant protein in human serum. IgG is important for our defence against microorganisms and the molecules are produced by B-lymphocytes as a part of our adaptive immune response. The IgG molecule has two separate functions; to bind to the pathogen that elicited the response and to recruit other cells and molecules to destroy the antigen. The variability of the IgG pool is generated by somatic recombination and the number of specificities in an individual at a given time point is estimated to be 10 11 variants.

Application

Detect Mouse IgG γ chain using this Goat anti-Mouse IgG γ chain Antibody, FITC conjugate, Species Adsorbed validated for use in ELISA & IF.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Reacts with heavy chain of mouse IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b and IgG3. Absorbed for mouse IgM and IgA, pooled human sera and purified human paraproteins. Minimal cross reactivity with human immunoglobulins.

Human tissue-specific stem cells (hTSCs), found throughout the body, can differentiate into several lineages under appropriate conditions in vitro and in vivo. By transfecting terminally differentiated cells with reprogramming factors, we previously produced induced TSCs from the pancreas and hepatocytes
