General description

Questions

1–10 of 10 Questions
  1. Upon resuspension, at what temperature should albumin be stored and how long is it stable?

    1 answer
    1. Solutions may be stored refrigerated at 2-8°C. The long term stability of this product in solution has not been determined. However, filter sterilized solutions of human and bovine origin have a shelf life of 2 - 3 years when stored refrigerated. Albumin solutions may also be stored at -20 °C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles for frozen solutions.

  2. Is this endotoxin free ovalbumin?

    1 answer
    1. Unfortunately, this product is not tested for endotoxin.

      Helpful?

  3. Is A5503 fluorescent?

    1 answer
    1. This product is pure ovalbumin with a minimum purity specification of 98%. No fluorescent conjugate or probe is present in this material.

      Helpful?

  4. Does A5503 can analyze by western blotting?

    1 answer
    1. This product has not been specifically tested for use in western blot. However, there is no reason to suspect that this albumin would not be suitable.
