The long term storage of this material in dilute form has not been evaluated. For best results, dilute just prior to use with pre-chilled BME medium. Upon thawing, the concentrate may be aliquoted to single use volumes and stored at -70°C for up to 1 year. Hello there, Could you please provide the reconstitution details of this item(cat# E0282), I would like to know the ratios for example is it 1:100 etc.
1 answer-
For monolayer culture or when a thin coating of BME is desired, dilutions of as high as 1:100 can be used. An empirically determined dilution should be performed depending on the particular application. Human embryonic stem cells and keratinocytes grow well when cultured on a 1:100 dilution of MaxGel ECM.

Can this product also be used for cell differentiation?
1 answer-
The impact of extracellular matrix on cell differentiation can vary from cell type to cell type. This product is derived from human basement membrane extract that includes several components, many of which are not defined. Cell differentiation may be induced by the structural environment or other components present within the matrix. The end user would have to determine the suitability of the product based on the cell or tissue type of interest.
