This product has not been tested for its suitability in dual staining. When using the PAP Modified EA65 stain, the slides are also routinely stained with Gill's hematoxylin and OG-6. Using just the Papanicolaou Stain Modified EA 65 with a PAS stain would be considered "off-label" use by the FDA, as the PAP stain reagents are approved by the Food and Drug Administration for use in performing a standard PAP stain procedure.
This application will need to be validated and properly documented for staining clinical specimens by the end-user.

I want to perform conjunctival impression cytology, is Papanicolaou Stain Modified EA 65 appropriate if I want to fix and stain specimens with a combination of periodic acid-Schiff (PAS) and Gill’s modified Papanicolaou stains?
