Forsythiaside A is a most abundant phenylethanoid glycosides isolated from Forsythia suspense that exhibits anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective activities. It appears that forsythoside A exerts antipyretic activities through inhibition of transient receptor potential vanilloid 1 (TRPV1) channel.
