COR-L279 has been isolated from a lymph node of an untreated 63 year-old male. The degenerated and necrotic morphology of the sample obtained was consistent with metastatic small cell carcinoma of the lung.

Preparation Note

Maintain cultures between 3-9 x 100,000 cells/ml; 5% CO₂; 37°C.

RPMI 1640 + 2mM Glutamine + 10% Foetal Bovine Serum (FBS).
