General description

Tumor Necrosis Factor α (TNF-α) is a proinflammatory cytokine. It is a transmembrane protein and the final protein is devoid of the extracellular domain. TNF-α-converting enzyme (TACE) catalyzes the formation of the soluble homotrimer TNF-α.
The Mouse TNF-α ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Mouse TNF-α in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants.

Immunogen

Recombinant Mouse TNF-α

Application

Mouse Tumor Necrosis Factor α ELISA Kit has been used in measuring TNF-αin MC3T3-E1 murine preosteoblastic calvarial cell lines, rat serum, mice liver and kidney samples.

Biochem/physiol Actions

Tumor Necrosis Factor α (TNF-α) elicits inflammatory and immuno-regulatory functionality. It mediates its effects via its receptors TNFR1 and TNFR2.

Questions

  1. How to prepare lyophilized reagents from ELISA kits for IL10 elisa sigma RAB 0244-1KT and on standard dilution: 5microl + 728.3 microl BUT WHAT IS 728.3 microl

    1 answer
    1. The IL-10 standard is prepared by diluting 5 uL with 728.3 uL of Assay Diluent A or Assay Diluent B. The formulations of both diluents are proprietary and may not be shared. Please see the link below for the sample Certificate of Analysis to review the protocol.
