The reconstituted protease inhibitor solution may be stored at 2-8 °C for at least 2 weeks. Long term solution stability studies at -20°C have not been performed, however 10X solutions - 10mL per tablet - will be stable for at least 1 month in frozen aliquots. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Die Tabletten enthalten keine starken Metallchelatbildner wie EDTA und sind mit der Probenverarbeitung durch immobilisierte Metallaffinitätschromatografie (IMAC) kompatibel. Die Tabletten enthalten zudem eine einzigartige, proprietäre Formulierung, die für zusätzlichen Schutz ein Pepstatin-A-Salz enthält.
Spezifität
Hemmt Serin-, Cystein-, Asparagin- und Metallproteasen.
Anwendung
Aufgrund ihrer breiten Spezifität sind die SIGMAFAST™-Proteaseinhibitor-Cocktail-Tabletten für die Aufreinigung von mit Histidin markierten Proteinen sowie als universeller Proteaseinhibitor-Cocktail geeignet. Die Tabletten können auch als Komponenten von Puffern für die Zelllyse eingesetzt werden und wurden für die Verwendung mit HIS-Select®-Medien optimiert und getestet.
Leistungsmerkmale und Vorteile
EDTA-frei: Enthält keine starken Metallchelatbildner wie EDTA, die die IMAC beeinträchtigen könnten.
Pepstatin A: Enthält eine einzigartige, proprietäre Formulierung, die für zusätzlichen Schutz, der in Tablettenform normalerweise nicht erhalten wird, ein Pepstatin-A-Salz enthält.
Breite Spezifizität: Hemmt Serin-, Cystein-, Aspartat- und Metallproteasen, wodurch ein breiter Schutz für Proteinproben bereitgestellt wird.

How should I dissolve Product No. S8830, SIGMAFAST™ Protease Inhibitor?
1 answer-
You can dissolve the product in 100 ml of water to make a 1X solution. You can make a 10X stock solution using 10 ml of water and then dilute 1:10 for use. Concentrations greater than 1X may appear slightly hazy. This will not affect the performance of the protease inhibitors.

What is the difference between Protease Inhibitors P8849 and S8830?

P8849 is a DMSO solution and S8830 is a water soluble tablet. P8849 formulation is considered proprietary but does contain AEBSF, Pepstatin A, Bestatin, E-64, and Phosphoramidon. The formulation of S8830 also contains Aprotinin and Pepstatin A and the exact formulation is given on the product information sheet (under Documents, above).
