Calcium ion solution (CaCl2) contains dissolved calcium ions and chloride ions.
Application
CaCl2 solution was used in the photolysis of caged compounds while obtaining patch-clamp, in an experiment conducted to study olfactory transduction in dissociated mouse olfactory sensory neurons.[1]
