Application
Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle′s Medium (DMEM) is a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) that contains four-fold concentrations of the amino acids and vitamins. The original formulation contained 1000 mg/L of glucose and was used to culture embryonic mouse cells. Since then, it has been modified in several ways to support primary cultures of mouse and chicken cells, as well as a variety of normal and transformed cells. Each of these media offers a different combination of L-glutamine and sodium pyruvate. Additionally, the glucose levels have been raised to 4500 mg/L, contributing to the name "DMEM/High".
Preparation Note
Formulated to contain 17.3 grams of powder per liter of medium.
Gonadotropin-releasing hormone receptors (GnRHRs) colocalize with insulin and glucocorticoid receptors in lipid rafts of the gonadotroph plasma membrane, where they facilitate downstream signaling. We recently found that orphan G-protein-coupled receptor (GPR)61 is expressed in the anterior pituitary (AP) of heifers

BMSCs are important in replacement therapy of diabetic nephropathy (DN). MiR-124a exerts effect on the differentiation capability of pancreatic progenitor cells. The objective of this study was to explore the molecular mechanisms, the functions of miR-124a and bone marrow mesenchymal
Physapubescin B, a steroidal compound extracted from the plant Physalis pubescens L. (Solanaceae), has been reported to possess anti-cancer potential, whereas the molecular mechanism remains elusive. In this study, we first demonstrated that physapubescin B induced autophagy in human cancer
