Biochem/physiol Actions

Trichlorfon also known as metrifonate, is an insecticide that functions as an inhibitor of acetylcholine esterase. Trichlorfon has been shown to induce DNA damage and genetic defects in numerous cell lines in addition to inducing aneuploidy in male mouse germ cells. [1]
