General description
Bei der Nukleinsäure-Aufreinigung ist Guanidinthiocyanat wirksam zur Inaktivierung von DNasen und RNasen, der Verhinderung des Nukleinsäureabbaus und zu Sicherstellung ergiebiger Ausbeuten. Aufgrund seiner doppelten denaturierenden und enzymhemmenden Eigenschaften ist es für DNA- und RNA-Studien von entscheidender Bedeutung. Über die Isolierung von Nukleinsäuren hinaus wird Guanidinthiocyanat für die Zelllyse und die Inaktivierung von Viruspartikeln im Rahmen von RNA- und DNA-Extraktionen verwendet. Es durchbricht nicht nur die Membranen, sondern denaturiert auch RNase- und DNase-Enzyme, wodurch extrahierte Nukleinsäuren vor dem enzymatischen Abbau geschützt werden. Die Vielseitigkeit von Guanidinthiocyanat erstreckt sich auch auf molekularbiologische Verfahren wie PCR, Northern Blot und Southern Blot. Es dient bei diesen Verfahren als essentielles Reagenz und trägt zur erfolgreichen Analyse und Amplifikation von Nukleinsäuren bei.

How is shipping temperature determined? And how is it related to the product storage temperature?

Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.
