イミキモドは、先天性皮膚免疫と、獲得免疫応答を担う細胞群の誘導を助けます。[1]
イミキモドはカスパ-ゼ3のアクチベ-タ-であり、プロカスパ-ゼ3から活性型カスパ-ゼ3への切断を直接誘導します。 in vivoにおいて、イミキモドは基底細胞癌のアポト-シスを誘導します。この抗腫瘍活性はアポト-シスの誘導と関連しています。イミキモドは抗血管新生作用、抗炎症作用、抗ウイルス作用を有しています。また、イミキモドには免疫反応の調節因子としての作用があり、種々のサイトカインやケモカインの分泌を誘発します。
イミキモドはカスパ-ゼ3のアクチベ-タ-であり、プロカスパ-ゼ3から活性型カスパ-ゼ3への切断を直接誘導します。in vivoにおいてイミキモドはアポト-シスを誘導するほか、抗ウイルス性、抗炎症性を有する免疫調節剤として作用します。
