JSH-23は、NF-kB核移行のインヒビターです。EMSAおよびウエスタンブロットによる解析によれば、NF-kBのp65サブユニットのLPSおよびサイトカイン誘導性核移行を阻害します。この化合物は穏やかな有効性(RAW 264.7においてIC50 7.1 μM)を示しますが、IkBの分解または回復に影響しないという特異的な性質を示します。この化合物は、LPSに誘導されるサイトカイン、COX2、iNOSの発現を用量依存的に阻害し、おそらく、p65のNLSに結合または干渉します。
