Chlorpromazine hydrochloride (CPZ) is an antipsychotic drug which belongs to phenothiazine neuroleptic group. It is used in treating mental or personality disorders.[1]

アプリケーション

ヘモグロビンやペルオキシダーゼの微量定量において、ベンジジン、o-ジアニシジン、o-トリジンの代わりに用いられます。

CPZ may have been used as standard for the determination of antipsychotic drug at a glassy carbon electrode using chemometric methods, such as classical least squares (CLS), principal component regression (PCR) and partial least squares (PLS).[1]

生物化学的／生理学的作用

クロルプロマジンは、白血病細胞に対する細胞毒性と抗増殖活性がありますが、正常なリンパ球の生存率には影響を与えません。

フェノチアジン系抗精神病薬であり、D₂ドーパミンレセプターおよびH₁ヒスタミンレセプターのアンタゴニストです。サイクリックヌクレオチドホスホジエステラーゼやNOシンターゼによるカルモジュリン依存性刺激作用を阻害します。
