Allgemeine Beschreibung
Natriumbicarbonat wird verbreitet als physiologischer Puffer in Zellkulturanwendungen eingesetzt. Der pKa-Wert für Bicarbonat <-> Carbonsäure-Reaktionen beträgt 6,4. Der pKa-Wert für Bicarbonat <-> Carbonat-Reaktionen beträgt 10,3. Natriumbicarbonat verfügt über zwei pKa-Werte: 6,4 und 10,3. Es wird verbreitet als physiologischer Puffer in In-vitro-Anwendungen eingesetzt.
Anwendung
Natriumbicarbonat wird verwendet:
- als Komponente in Kultursystemen für Rinderembryonen während der In-vitro-Reifung, -Befruchtung und -Kultivierung (IVMFC)[1]
- als Komponente von einer 1:1-Mischung von Dulbecco′s Modified Eagle′s Medium und Ham′s Nährstoffmischung F-12 bei der Kultivierung von bovinen mikrovaskulären Endothelzellen[2]
- als Komponente von ITS (Insulin-Transferrin-Selenit)-Medium während der Isolierung von Dopamin-Neuronen aus humanen embryonalen Stammzellen[3]
- als Komponente eines Mediums zur Kultivierung von humanen embryonalen Nierenzellen[4]
- als Komponente von Beltsville-Auftaulösung zur Spermaverdünnung[5]

What is the shelf life after delivery and opening? Is there usually an impact on quality after 2 years? The color of the medium changed and the pH decreased. Does the solubility or function of sodium bicarbonate decrease as it gets older?

This product is not assigned an expiration date. It is assigned a recommended retest date of approximately 5 years after the quality release date. A recommended retest date is the period of time during which the product is expected to remain within established stability specifications, provided that it has been stored under defined conditions.
