This column contains the following:
-Sulfuric acid-treated layers prevent chars from plugging the column while removing unsaturated hydrocarbons, phthalates, organochlorides, pigment, and polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) from the sample.
-A potassium hydroxide treated layer removes lipids, proteins, phenols, and acidic compounds.
-A silver nitrate treated layer removes sulfur compounds, elemental sulfur, pesticides, and aliphatic hydrocarbons.
Dioxins, furans, and PCBs pass through the column unretained. Please see the image below which includes the order and amounts of each:

General description
Multi-Layer Silica Gel Dioxin Column is compatible with the Dioxin Sample Preparation Kit. It is suitable for the solid phase extraction (SPE) technique.
It can be used for the purification of extracts containing polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs), polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), helping to remove impurities and isolate these target compounds for analysis.
