Opis ogólny

Procainamide hydrochloride belongs to the class I of antiarrhythmic drugs and is used for the management of heart arrhythmia in cardiac patients. It is also proposed to exhibit chemoprotective behavior against cisplatin-induced kidney toxicity.[1][2][3]

Zastosowanie

Procainamide hydrochloride may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard in the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical preparations by spectrophotometric[3] and electrophoretic techniques.[4]
