Allgemeine Beschreibung

Ficoll® 400 ist ein nicht-ionischer synthetischer Polymer der Sucrose, der für die Zellabtrennung und Organisolierung verwendet wird.

Anwendung

Für die Zelltrennung und die Isolierung von Organellen verwendet.
Geeignet für
  • Hybridisierungsexperimente zur Reduzierung nicht-spezifischer Bindungen markierter Sonden an die Membran[1]
  • Herstellung von DNA-Ladepuffer (15 % Ficoll®, 0,25 % Bromphenolblau und 0,25 % Xylencyanol (FF))
  • Abtrennung von Zellen mit ähnlicher Dichte, jedoch unterschiedlicher Größe (PBMC aus peripherem Blut, Knochenmark und Nabelschnurblut des Menschen)
  • Herstellung von Dichtegradienten zur Abtrennung subzellulärer Bestandteile
  • Vitrifizierung von Zell- und Gewebeproben[2]
  • Vergleich der Wirkung unterschiedlicher Perfusate auf die hypoxische pulmonale Vasokonstriktion (HPV)[3]

    1. When trying to isolate mononuclear cells you can use this product but we offer Histopaque that is a mixture of Ficoll and Hypaque. For humans, we offer H8889, Histopaque®-1077 Hybri-Max™ or 1077-1, Histopaque®-1077. For rodents we offer 1083-1, Histopaque®-1083. For isolation of neutrophils, we offer 1119-1, Histopaque®-1119.
