Anwendung

Diethylenetriamine-pentaacetic acid calcium trisodium salt hydrate (CaNa3-DTPA) is a chelator, which can be used as an antidote to metal poisoning.[1] It is generally used to sequester cadmium,[2] beryllium,[3] actinides including plutonium and americium.[4]
