Cyclophosphamide, a nitrogen mustard DNA alkylating agent, is used to study its mechanisms of action as an anticancer and antiimmunity drug.

Cyclophosphamid ist ein Stickstofflostderivat, das in der Krebstherapie verbreitete Anwendung findet. Es führt zur Quervernetzung der DNA sowie zum Abbruch von Strängen und induziert Mutationen. Seine klinische Aktivität wird mit einer Abnahme der ALDH1-Aktivität (Aldehyd-Dehydrogenase 1) assoziiert.
