Aplicação

2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate has been used in a study to describe a novel methodology for grafting polymers via radical photopolymerization initiated on gold surfaces by aryl layers from diazonium salt precursors. 2-Hydroxyethyl methacrylate has also been used in a study to provide insight into the induction of apoptosis and the differential expression of antioxidant enzymes depending on the availability of glutathione.

In this paper we describe a novel methodology for grafting polymers via radical photopolymerization initiated on gold surfaces by aryl layers from diazonium salt precursors. The parent 4-(dimethylamino)benzenediazonium salt was electroreduced on a gold surface to provide 4-(dimethylamino)phenyl (DMA) hydrogen

Resin monomers like 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) disturb cell functions including responses of the innate immune system, mineralization and differentiation, or induce cell death via apoptosis. These phenomena are associated with oxidative stress and a reduction in the concentration of the

Poor cell engraftment in the myocardium is a limiting factor towards the use of bone marrow derived cells (BMCs) to treat myocardial infarction (MI). In order to enhance the engraftment of circulating BMCs in the myocardium following MI, we have

A major reason for dental resin composite restoration replacement is related to secondary caries promoted by acid production from bacteria including Streptococcus mutans (S. mutans). We hypothesized that S. mutans has esterase activities that degrade dental resin composites and adhesives.
