O filtro de polimento VOC-Pak® foi projetado para purificar água ultrapura para a análise de compostos orgânicos voláteis (COVs) em análises de GC e GC-MS. O filtro de polimento é feito de carvão ativado projetado especificamente para a remoção eficaz dos COV da água ultrapura. Esta unidade é uma excelente escolha para cientistas que precisam de água ultrapura sem COV para suas aplicações analíticas.
O filtro de polimento VOC-Pak® produz água sem COV quando é alimentado com água ultrapura no ponto de dispensação Q-POD® dos sistemas de purificação de água Milli-Q® IQ 7000, Milli-Q® IQ 7003/05/10/15 e Milli-Q® EQ 7000/08/16.

Aplicação

O filtro de polimento VOC-Pak® é usado para produzir água sem COV para análises de GC e GC-MS, quando alimentado com água ultrapura. A água ultrapura sem COV fornecida é adequada para o preparo de brancos, soluções padrão, reagentes e amostras usados na análise dessas substâncias,[1] ou em situações em que podem afetar os resultados, como em estudos eletroquímicos.[2][3]

    1. Recommended storage conditions: temperatures from 5 to 30°C; humidity between 10 and 80%. The original sealed bag (if provided) must be kept intact before the first use to protect the purification element from foreign matter.

  2. How are consumables changed?

For high-flow systems, please keep in mind that all consumable changes must be approved by a 3-digit code that only the person in charge of the system knows.

  5. Can I arrange to have my consumables automatically ordered and delivered once a year?

  6. Can consumables be opened and refilled?

    1. Unfortunately, this is not possible because of safety issues and the need to guarantee the quality of consumables and their interior purification components. Our consumables are manufactured in an ISO 9001-certified facility France in agreement with high quality standards.

  7. How frequently do the various consumables need to be changed?

    1. The frequency that consumables must be changed depends on the system's usage (treated water volume) and on the consumables themselves (time of usage). In order to ensure the quality of water and your results, the consumables should be replaced when the system alerts you.

  9. If I have a final filter that I use only occasionally (e.g., Biopak®) and have another filter (e.g. Millipak®) that I most of the time, can I keep the 'occasional-use' filter for use again at a later time?

    1. It is not possible to re-use a filter that has been used and then removed because air intake during replacement creates an airlock and blocks water passing through the filter. If you regularly need two different filters, we recommend using two POD dispensers.
