生化/生理作用

  1. If we dissolve the powder in distilled water, as described in one of the questions, can we aliquot this solution and freeze it at -20 or -70. If so, for how long? Or should we make a fresh solution every time?

    1. This product has not been tested for stability once dissolved in water. It is recommended to reconstitute just before use.

  2. Hi there, could you confirm the validity of our stock preparation for L5900-10MG? We dissolve the full 10 mg tube in 1.43 mL distilled water, yielding a 25 millimolar stock solution.

    1. Linoleic acid has a molecular weight of 280.45 g/mol. Dissolving the full 10 mg tube in 1.43 mL of distilled water yields a 25 millimolar stock solution.

  3. Dear, can you please clarify the composition of this product for me? In my understanding this product contains minimum 2.5% linoleic acid encapsulated in methyl-β-cyclodextrin.

    1. The product contains approximately 30 mg of linoleic acid per gram; balance methyl-?-cyclodextrin.
      Package size is based on linoleic acid content.
