(±)-α-生育酚已被用于制备分枝杆菌乳剂。它还用于研究其对流感病毒的免疫调节作用。

生化／生理作用

δ生育酚（维生素E）由一系列（α、β、γ和δ）手性化合物组成，这些手性化合物的不同之处在于色原烷醇环的酚部分的甲基化程度。它们起到脂溶性抗氧化剂的作用，保护细胞膜免受氧化损伤。α-生育酚被人体吸收发挥有利作用，并且它们的烟酸盐具有维生素E补充剂的作用。研究还报道，维生素E可以预防大鼠中药物诱导型癫痫引起的细胞损伤。

準備報告

(±)-α-生育酚可与氯仿、乙醇、乙醚、丙酮和植物油混溶。但是，它实际上不溶于水。 (±)-α-生育酚在碱性条件下不稳定。

  1. How can I determine the shelf life / expiration / retest date of this product?

    1. If this product has an expiration or retest date, it will be shown on the Certificate of Analysis (COA, CofA). If there is no retest or expiration date listed on the product's COA, we do not have suitable stability data to determine a shelf life. For these products, the only date on the COA will be the release date; a retest, expiration, or use-by-date will not be displayed.
      For all products, we recommend handling per defined conditions as printed in our product literature and website product descriptions. We recommend that products should be routinely inspected by customers to ensure they perform as expected.
      For products without retest or expiration dates, our standard warranty of 1 year from the date of shipment is applicable.

    1. Products may be shipped at a different temperature than the recommended long-term storage temperature. If the product quality is sensitive to short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped on wet or dry-ice. If the product quality is NOT affected by short-term exposure to conditions other than the recommended long-term storage, it will be shipped at ambient temperature. As shipping routes are configured for minimum transit times, shipping at ambient temperature helps control shipping costs for our customers.     1. This material is a neat or pure liquid that has not been diluted with a solvent. At a purity of 100%, the molarity is 2.205 M. The minimum purity specification for this product is 96%. The molarity will change from lot to lot based on the determined purity. A lot of this product with a minimum purity of 96% will be 2.117 M.   5. Hi, I would like to ask if you have the LC-MS grade of this chemical (Tocopherol CAS number; 10191-41-0, part no: T3251-5G). I'm in need of the LC-MS authentic standard of this chemical to compare my isolated compound with. Thank you.

    1. This product is not considered a standard nor has it been tested for use as such in LC-MS. Product number V-020 is a 1 mg/mL α-tocopherol solution in methanol. This product is a certified reference material suitable for use as a standard in HPLC or LC-MS/MS.
