Material is a powdered mixture of 1 part potassium clavulanate to 1 part silicon dioxide.

生物化学的／生理学的作用

Clavulanate is a β-lactam antibiotic related to the penicillins. Clavulanate competitively and irreversibly inhibits a wide variety of β-lactamases[1] found in bacteria that are resistant to penicillins and cephalosporins.[2]
