CellCrown 6は、5種類のモデルが利用可能です;非滅菌および滅菌済みの空のインサート、ならびに5μm孔径の白色ナイロンメンブレン、および1μm孔径のポリカーボネートフィルター付の滅菌済み空インサート。ナイロンフィルターは親水性でタンパクと結合します。ポリカーボネートは、細胞およびタンパクがフィルター上に付着することを望まない場合の用途に適しています。
CellCrownは、6、12、24、48、96ウェルプレート上にあるサンプルを動かないようにする、使い捨てのインサート器具です。繊維、箔、膜、織物、組織、足場材のようなサンプルを、ウェルの安定した調整位置にCellCrownで固定することができます。ウェルの壁とCellCrownの間でピペットを使って培地を交換する間、サンプルをウェルに残したままにすることができます。ウェルプレートの蓋は、CellCrown使用中には閉じることができます。このインサート器具は、細胞培養後には、サンプルを傷つけることなくウェルプレートから除去し取り外すことができます。CellCrownは、医療グレードのポリカーボネート製で、製品構成は、すぐに使える滅菌済製品も、ユーザによって滅菌する未滅菌製品もあります。ガンマ線滅菌または電子線照射、オートクレーブ、エチレンオキサイドガス、プラズマ滅菌が可能です。
