Featuring small sizes, caged structures, low cytotoxicity and the capability to cross biological barriers, fullerene hydroxy derivatives named fullerenols have been explored as nanomedicinal candidates for amyloid inhibition. Polyhydroxylated fullerenes (fullerenols: C(60)(OH)(n)) are known as the major water-soluble fullerene derivatives which possess particular significance as free radical scavengers or antioxidants in biological systems. Recently, the novel polyhydroxylated fullerene (C(60) (OH)(44)·8H(2)O: SHH-F) was successfully synthesized. In the present study
The antimicrobial activities of fullerene C60 and its derivatives against 6 kinds of bacteria and 2 kinds of fungi were evaluated. The tested samples were water-soluble fullerenes (polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)/C60, gamma-cyclodextrin (gamma-CD)/C60, and nano-C60) and 3 types of fullerenols (C60(OH)12, C60(OH)36.8H2O
Hello! Can you tell me what is the concentration of fullerene in this solution? Thanks in advance for your answer!

The concentration of fullerene in this solution is not determined. The water content is reported on the lot-specific Certificate of Analysis, however, the n value in the product formula [C60(OH)n · mH2O (n>] is not further evaluated. Please see the link below to review a sample Certificate: https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/certificates/COFA/79/793248/793248-BULK_______MKCG7762__.pdf
