Anti-Golgin-97, clone 4K16 ZooMAb, Cat. No. ZRB1346, is a recombinant Rabbit monoclonal antibody that specifically targets Golgin-97 and has been tested for use in Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) and Western Blotting.

Immunocytochemistry Analysis: A 1:100-1,000 dilution from a representative lot detected Golgin-97 in A431, HUVEC, and HepG2 cells.

Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) Analysis: A 1:100 dilution from a representative lot detected Golgin-97 in human testis tissue sections.

Note: Actual optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user as specimens, and experimental conditions may vary with the end user.

Golgin subfamily A member 1 (UniProt: Q92805; also known as Golgin-97) is encoded by the GOLGA1 gene (Gene ID: 2800) in human. Golgin-97 is a peripheral membrane protein that is involved in vesicular trafficking at the Golgi apparatus level. It participates in endosome-to-Golgi trafficking. Golgin-97 is shown to be a binding partner for potassium channel Kir2.1 and is essential for targeting this channel to trans-Golgi network. The GRIP domain (aa 688-737) of Golgin-97 associates with the cytoplasmic domain of Kir2.1. Antibodies against Golgin-97 are found in sera of patients with Sjoegren syndrome characterized by dry mouth and dry eyes. During viral infection, Golgin-97 is reportedly transported to the sites of virus replication and assembly and becomes incorporated into the virions where it associates with the insoluble core protein fraction. This ZooMAb recombinant monoclonal antibody, generated by our propriety technology, offers significantly enhanced specificity, affinity, reproducibility, and stability over conventional monoclonals. Tárolás és stabilitás

Recommend storage of lyophilized product at 2-8°C; Before reconstitution, micro-centrifuge vials briefly to spin down material to bottom of the vial; Reconstitute each vial by adding 25 μL of filtered lab grade water or PBS; Reconstituted antibodies can be stored at 2-8°C, or -20°C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaws.
