Aplicação

Usado na desnaturação de proteínas e como agente suave de solubilização para proteínas insolúveis ou desnaturadas. Útil para renaturar proteínas de amostras já desnaturadas com cloreto de guanidina 6 M, como corpos de inclusão. Pode ser usado com cloridrato de guanidina e ditiotreitol (DTT) para renaturação de proteínas desnaturadas para sua forma nativa ou ativa.
