Sulfamerazine is a sulfonamide antibiotic, used mainly to prevent bacterial infections in both humans and animals.[1]

Anwendung

Sulfamerazine may be used as a reference standard for the determination of sulfonamide antibiotics in animal muscle, liver and kidney tissues using cation exchange reversed phase sorbent for sample clean-up and analysis by high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection.[2]
