Chromoionophores are colored ionophores. It consists of two functionally different parts namely ionophore and chromophore; ionophore helps in recognizing ions whereas chromophore transduces a chemical information produced by ionophore-ion interaction.[1]

Anwendung

Der pH Indikator kann kovalent an einen Celluloseträger gebunden werden.[2] Modellverbindung für pH und Kationenindikatorfarbstoffe, welche kovalent an Cellulose gebunden werden können.[3]
