If just for washing, the rack can be removed and the liquid can be eluted inside the glass chamber (no HF please) and disposed of after washing. The manifold can either be opened or the liquid be allowed to enter the vacuum trap through the vacuum tubing for disposal.

Is there a container for the Visiprep 12 that allows for collection from all the values that sits inside the manifold? Other brands offer this; it would be helpful. Currently this model requires frequent opening/closing to dump during the wash steps.
