Zastosowanie

Amitriptyline hydrochloride EP Reference standard, intended for use in laboratory tests only as specifically prescribed in the European Pharmacopoeia.

Działania biochem./fizjol.

Tricyclic antidepressant; inhibits the norepinephrine and serotonin transporters with K_is of 100 nM and 14.7 nM, respectively; high in vitro affinity for α₁-adrenoceptors, serotonin and muscarinic acetylcholine receptors.
