애플리케이션
C10 Ceramide (d18:1/10:0) or N-decanoyl-D-erythro-sphingosine has been used:
- as an internal standard in galactocerebrosidase (GALC) assay[2]
- to study its role on the physical properties of edible organogels and on their ability to induce cell death of various cancer cell lines[3]
- to study its mixing behavior with other ceramides having the same sphingosine base but varying N-linked acyl chain length[1]
