Parallel microwave synthesis of 2-styrylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones in a high-throughput platform using HPLC/GC vials as reaction vessels: This study demonstrates the innovative use of aluminum crimp caps in securing HPLC/GC vials which were utilized as reaction vessels in microwave-assisted parallel synthesis. The use of aluminum crimp caps ensured airtight sealing that is critical in maintaining the integrity of reactive environments, particularly in high-throughput pharmaceutical research settings. This application highlights the effectiveness of aluminum caps in ensuring the stability and reliability of experimental setups, making them indispensable tools in modern pharmaceutical and chemical research labs (Baghbanzadeh M et al., 2009).
