Spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK) is a member of the non-receptor tyrosine kinase family. It is usually expressed in epithelial breast tissues and hematopoietic cells. The gene encoding it is localized on human chromosome 9q22.

It also modulates cell proliferation and differentiation.
