Follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) belongs to glycoprotein hormone family. It is secreted by the gonadotropic cells of pituitary gland.[1] FSH specifically binds to FSH receptor (FSHR) for signalling. It also plays an important role in oogenesis.[2]
