レチノイン酸のアナログであり、RARβ、RARγのアゴニストです(RARβ、RARγ、RARα、RXRαに対するAC50値は、それぞれ2.2 nM、9.3 nM、22 nM、> 1000 nM)。
レチノイン酸のアナログであり、RARβ、RARγのアゴニストです(RARβ、RARγ、RARα、RXRαに対するAC50値は、それぞれ2.2 nM、9.3 nM、22 nM、> 1000 nM)。in vitroで結腸直腸癌細胞の増殖を阻害し、アポトーシスを誘導します。また、面皰形成の抑制作用を示します。薬理学的性質が特徴的であることから、挫瘡の治療において、他のレチノイドよりも優れた効果を発揮しています。
