Lysophosphotidylinositol (LPI) is involved in metabolism and glucose homeostasis.[1] It also affects cellular growth, differentiation and motility of various cells, such as nerve cells, endothelial cells and cancer cells.[1] LPI is an endogenous ligand for G-protein coupled receptor, GPR55.[3]
