This item is not tested for use in any specific application, but is pressure rated at 500 psi. This tube will safely release pressure at or below 120 psi. A high pressure adapter is available for this kit (sold separately) that will release pressure at or below 180 psi. See product Z742415 for further details. We would recommend keeping the level of the liquid just below half full. The 35mL system has a maximum fill line printed on the tube.

Can High pressure adapters for Q-Tube™ be heated with an oil bath?

Yes. However, the Q-BlockTM heating block offers the advantage of being equipped with a safety shield, lattice clamps and hose barb for nitrogen stream to cool down the block.
