La 2′,7′-diclorodiidrofluoresceina diacetato (DCFH-DA) è un colorante fluorescente sensibile all'ossidazione, utilizzato per rilevare il livello intracellulare di specie reattive dell'ossigeno (ROS). Il DCFH-DA è una sonda non fluorescente in grado di permeare le cellule, che può essere idrolizzata dall'esterasi intracellulare a dare DCFH, che per ossidazione da parte dei ROS intracellulari forma DCF fluorescente.[1]
The excitation wavelength is 504 nm and emission wavelength is 529 nm in ethanol. The use of DMSO as the solvent has not been determined, however various publications suggest that it is suitable.

Applicazioni

La 2′,7′-diclorofluoresceina diacetato trova impiego:
  • nella quantificazione rapida e sensibile delle specie reattive dell′ossigeno in risposta al metabolismo ossidativo;[2][1][3]
  • nei saggi su micropiastra per rilevare i prodotti ossidativi nelle cellule fagocitiche;
  • nei saggi quantitativi di differenziazione mieloide in piastre multipozzetto

Trova impiego nella quantificazione rapida e sensibile delle specie reattive dell′ossigeno in risposta al metabolismo ossidativo, nei saggi su micropiastre per il rilevamento dei prodotti ossidativi nelle cellule fagocitiche e nei saggi quantitativi di differenziazione mieloide su piastre multipozzetto.
