TDCPP is classified under the chlorinated trialkyl organophosphate flame retardant (OPFR) group of compounds primarily utilized as additives in commercial products such as plastics, paints, textiles, furniture, etc.[1][2]

Applicazioni

TDCPP may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in:
  • Eggs by liquid chromatography-tandem quadrupole mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).[2]
  • Fish samples by gas chromatography-nitrogen-phosphorus detector (GC-NPD),[3] LC-MS/MS[4] and on-line turbulent flow chromatography (TFC) in conjunction with LC-MS/MS.[5]
  • Environmental samples by GC-MS/MS.[6][7]
  • Fruits and vegetables by GC-MS/MS[8] and GC coupled with electron capture detection.[9]
