脱铁转铁蛋白是一种无铁形式的转铁蛋白,存在于循环系统中。

應用

所有细胞都需要铁才能从其环境中适当吸收氧气。 转铁蛋白是一种从血清中分离出来的蛋白质,可引起铁从培养基中摄取并转运到细胞中。 这允许适当的氧气吸收,并且还刺激与生长相关的酶活性。 铁饱和转铁蛋白(全转铁蛋白)在释放铁后不断循环,变成缺铁转铁蛋白(脱辅基转铁蛋白)。 选择使用哪种形式取决于培养条件。 在诸如含有高水平铁盐的Dulbecco′s改良的Eagle′s培养基/Ham′s营养混合物F12(DMEM/F12)的培养基中,优选使用脱铁转铁蛋白。
